Dear Diary,
All the kids like my hair (except Elesa who insists on calling me baldy). Went to Dr. Cornelius to get a check-up. I don’t have to have corection any more. Angel, Mrs. Sellers & I rehearsed the “love” scean [scene] in “Love-Bug”. Ummm it was nice. Robert hasn’t asked me to the A9 party yet (hear’s hoping).

I’ve been helping Mr. Faulk a lot and he says he’ll give me an “A” on my reportcard. Jean’s mom cut my hair and it looks good. My dress came today & it’s even prettier than I remembered.

Nothing much happened today. Worked on “Love-Bug”. I asked Jean’s mother to cut my hair & she said yes. She’ll to it tomorrow.

Jean & me went to the show. Saw Joan of Ark it was pretty good. Gosh Diary, it doesn’t seem possible that in 2 weeks I’m graduating & moving. I feel kindda empty inside.

Mommie & me went downtown today. I got my whole outfit. I got a tangerine Dress, a topper, a purse, shoes, hat, a sweater set, & a blouse. Man what a day. I also slept over Jeanies. Jean’s feet were extremely cold tonight. Burr.

Dear Diary,
We had joint homeroom today & we got our A9 pins. We had co-ed dancing today in the Cafe. I found what Nefarious & Myopsis mean. Arthur Hernandez invited us girls to his party Friday. I have a chance to baby-sit with Ilene or go to the Little Theater. Packed some things.

Dear Diary,
Ate dinner over Jean’s & then watched Uncle Milty [sic] except Ken Murry [sic] took his place. Found out that Robert loves / or likes me very much me and the only reason he doesn’t do anything is he — cause I’m moving in two weeks & it would be useless to start anything.
